A couple captures from life, using my new pencil. A special thanks to my fantastic model

Quick draw up today. :) Some Bridgeman, then 30 sec gestures. I notice that I really slowed down to make sure I got the upper half better structured. Went back with the red and added the rest of the legs from imagination.
Below is the 3D model currently on the workbench. Inspired by the actual place in the refs.

 Getting back into the flow of things. I should probably open Loomis and Bridgman. Practice practice practice, gotta get the rust off. The 1 min's seem to get to messy to read , but its good to see me getting brave with thick lines.

 Hey! I'm back! 3 Weeks later after an excursion in Ramsey NJ with a certain media company doing some random 3D work. These are the sketches I did in my spare time. The break from drawing was good, switching to 3D work was refreshing. While I struggle with my drawing ability I find the 3D work easier to archive a professional level. I think in the coming days I will introduce moar of a mix between the traditional mediums and modern tools.
Observing my drawing I notice a real obsession with the head, and I have started holding the pencil differently. I feel silly for not adopting this way of holding the pencil.
